HOUSE HANDBOOK | Red Belt
The Meaning of Tae Kwon Do's Red Belt indicates Danger. The student has sufficient skill to inflict injury to an opponent so the student must exercise caution and control. While this doesn't necessarily translate to dance application, a red belt student must approach training with caution.  Though you've developed a skill set that has prepared your body to learn advanced techniques, you must respect the limitations of your body. Know your body, and train productively.

The final module doesn't contain as many steps as in previous tiers, but the new moves you learn will certainly challenge you. In addition to rounding out the House Handbook's 30+ basic steps, the Red Belt tier also provides additional modifications and applications for techniques you've learned.  Understand your capabilities & limitations when learning these moves and techniques!  Spending time strengthening your foundations at an early level will give you more confidence to move through the Red Belt Tier!
