HOUSE HANDBOOK | Blue Belt
A blue belt represents the sky. The student is still on a path of continued upward growth. As a plant reaches up toward the blue sky, it must still be cared for in order to continue growing. As techniques become more challenging, a student must similarly take care of his or her own body to ensure consistent progress.
While the Blue Belt Tier contains some of the more challenging techniques in the House Handbook A-Z, it also contains exercises that add context to the basics you've already learned. You'll learn an exercise that allows you to jack in motion vs standing in place. Another exercise will give context to using the steps you've learned in a freestyle setting. Ultimately, most of the moves you learn in this module... you've already learned... but we're exploring HOW you can challenge your body to perform these moves in new ways. Be careful when practicing, and remember SLOW is SMOOTH and SMOOTH is FAST! If you need to understand something, start slowly and work your way up. Stay safe!
